Dr. Karl Bailey a native of Wales, United Kingdom, started his healthcare career as a Clinical Massage Therapist, where he was able to help many patients improve their health and function. After 8 years of soft tissue therapy, 5 of those here at Kirar Superior Healthcare, Dr. Karl and his family decided to relocate back to Illinois and return to school to pursue a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine at National University of Health Sciences. Fast forward 5 years, Dr. Karl is back at Kirar Superior Healthcare as a Licensed Chiropractor and is excited to be back in the community.

Dr. Karl, has been trained in techniques such as Diversified, Motion Palpation, Activator and specializes in Soft Tissue Therapy. Dr. Karl has experience working with professional and collegiate athletes utilizing rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies, through his training in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS).

Outside of treating patients, Dr. Karl is a husband and a father of two children, and is excited to explore the Charleston area again and make new memories. Dr. Karl enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as being active, either by playing and swimming with his family at the pool or beach, and competing locally in what he calls Football (soccer). Dr. Karl Bailey is excited for the opportunity to apply his knowledge and skill to help patients reach their healthcare goals.
